Duke has been performing as a solo artist for over 10
years. His music is all about ‘mixing it up’ and his
varied repertoire contains of only the best 'crowd
favourites', popular songs from the 50s right up to the
present day, all hugely popular and well known hits,
guaranteeing audience satisfaction.
With such a varied song-list Duke is at home with mixed
age-group audiences, but is equally at home with a more
mature crowd.
Songs included are by artists such as The Beatles,
T-Rex, Oasis, Eric Clapton, The Kaiser Chiefs, Bob
Marley, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, Elton John, Aswad,
The Quo, - and so many more, even Frank Sinatra!
Not just an excellent guitarist and a charismatic,
dynamic vocalist, ‘The Duke’ loves to get involved with
his audience with his own brand of whimsical humour.
This combination has made Duke a very popular
entertainer in and around his home Counties of
Worcestershire. Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.
Vocally he has a rich
baritone voice, most often compared with Neil Diamond,
Bruce Springsteen, Jim Morrison, Jack Bruce, Frank
Sinatra, Jon Bon Jovi.
A versatile all-round
musician, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer,
Duke is very fussy about his backing tracks. Most of
them are ‘home grown’ in his own studio, where he has
also written for TV, Radio, and Major Label artists.
