Sherrie has been performing
as a solo singer guitarist for over 10 years. Her varied
repertoire contains only the best 'crowd pleasing'
popular songs from the 50s right up to the present day,
guaranteeing maximum audience satisfaction.
With such a varied
song-list she is well-suited to mixed age-group
audiences but is equally at home with a more mature
crowd.
Songs are chosen 'on the fly' to suit the audience, but
include classic tracks by artists such as Shania Twain,
Queen, Abba, Blondie, The Ronettes,
Dusty Springfield, U2, The Corrs, The Beatles - and even Jim Reeves (in
the style of Kylie....), as well as by more recent
artists such as Amy Winehouse, Scissor Sisters and
Duffy.

A competent
lead guitarist and a charismatic, dynamic vocalist, Sherrie
communicates with and involves the audience with her own
brand of light humour.
This combination has made
her a popular entertainer throughout the UK but
mainly around her home county of Worcestershire,
including Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire,
Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire. She has performed over 3000 paid
professional gigs.
Vocally she has most often
been compared to Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.
An all-round musician
and multi-instrumentalist, she is very particular about
the standard of backing tracks she uses. Many of them
she carefully made herself.
